2. Job Description:
*Ensure that application is in the best interest of the company and that there is a valid reason for committing expenditure to develop it.
*Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
*Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
*Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal staff members to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following documents as needed: (Business Processes, Functional requirements , Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
*Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
*Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
*Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
*Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
*Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
*Develop standard templates for business requirements to facilitate consistent quality of work to all developers - onshore and offshore
*Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
*Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
*Provide CIO regular updates (weekly) on status of projects, being scoped, developed and deployed
*Analyze and model the business domain to create a complete picture of work-flows and technical requirements fulfilled by existing and proposed software.
*Lead cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
*Evaluate potential software solutions, including off-the-shelf and open source components, and the system architecture to ensure that they meet business requirements.
*Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/QUALITIES :
*Minimum of 8 years" experience with relevant degrees
*Forward thinking and visionary
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
*Knowledge of SQL Database and use of stored procedures
*Relevant experience in business analyzing
*Excellent problem solving skills
*Must have valid passport
