JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
· Apply best practices and be responsible for team’s deliverables.
· Provide on-going status to manager on status.
· Escalate project concerns and recommend solutions.
· Ability to work well within a team environment
Demonstrated Experience:
· Developing Microstrategy project design and Schema Objects like attributes , facts , hierarchy , partition mapping , Logical tables , transformations
· Developing Microstrategy Public Objects like Metrics , Filter , Prompts , Custom Group , Consolidation , Templates , Search Objects etc.
· Coordinate and deploy MicroStrategy report changes to the Production environment.
· Worked extensively Distribution Services in Production Environment
· Reporting and enhancements skills in any of the Reporting tool
· Should have worked in multiple versions of Microstrategy suite with understanding of Product Architecture.
· Experience in databases such Oracle, MS SQL Server
· Responsible for the development of BI centric reporting and analytics solutions.
· Must have thorough understanding of BI / DW concepts, proficient in SQL, data modeling good analytical and data validation skills.
· Experience with dimensional modeling and architecture experience implementing proper data structures for analytical reporting from an enterprise data warehouse.
· Developing Microstrategy Reports(Specialization) using functionalities like Level Metrics, Drill Down , Page By, Custom group , Consolidation, VLDB properties , OLAP , Data Marting , Relationship Filters.
· Experience in implementing end to end MSTR project using Intelligent Cube.
· Development of Microstrategy Dynamic Dashboards using Panel and Panel Stacks , Selector , grids and Charts , Widgets like Microchart , Time Slider , Heat Map Table etc
· Development and Implementation of dashboards on iPad.
· Hands on experience in Transaction Services.
· Migration of objects from Development to Production Environment using object manager.
Preferable Experience:
· Performance tuning using VLDB properties and In Memory BI.
· Microstrategy Administration (I-S / User Management)
· Involved in Microstrategy Performance Tuning
· Implemented MSTR Office in production environment.
