Scope:
The aim of our project is to monitor vehicles in a city using GPS
satellites. Each vehicle has a device composed of sensors and transceiver and
there will be a central station which processes the information received from
the sensors present inside the vehicle such as speed and acceleration sensors
to know the state of the vehicle when a driver violates a traffic rule.
By using”GPS based road traffic
monitoring system” accidents can be avoided in heavy traffic zones like
schools, hospitals, markets. Over speeding can be avoided in the high speed
restricted areas.
Personal Contribution:
I am the team leader of my batch and guided
my team in approaching various institutes for general exposure during our
project work. I used to explain the topics that I have learned to my team and
prepared documentation of the project along with my team.
