Skills : Skill Profile required.
To perform technical development services on applications, mainly around the Extract, Transform and Loading (ETL) functionality and Data warehouse processes.
• Program and test databases in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.
• Plan and coordinate database design, development, implementation, maintenance, and user support of system
• Provide technical expertise where required
• Document and assist in defining the technical requirements of an application
• Program database manipulation and transfers of data for internal and external clients.
• Document the functional and technical aspects of applications and provide user help documentation
• Provide Level 3 Support to Delivery, Local Hosting Centres and Clients
• Carry out the functions of a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator
• Program and test databases in accordance with programming standards and validation procedures.

• 3rd Level qualification and Certification in area of expertise.
• Proven track record working with project and design methodologies
• Good communication and the ability to interact across towers in a professional, efficient manner
• Knowledge of Reporting and Data Warehousing
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence applications e.g. MicroStrategy, Cognos, ServiceFlow
• Self-organizing, able to define tasks, establish priorities, and implement according to plan
• Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional
manner
• Ability to work as a key member of a team and on own initiative
