Years of Experience: 4-10 years
Skills Required:
a. Strong Testing fundamentals
b. In depth knowledge of Server Hardware, Storage and Operating systems
c. In depth understanding of system management and remote management capabilities
a. Experience in working on complex test projects.
d. Experience in managing one or more releases in parallel ; co-ordinate with multiple Dev / Test teams.
e. Good articulation and communication skills - Both written and oral; good Interpersonal skills
f. Ability to influence extended teams and seeking/providing clarity wherever required and setting expectations
g. Process improvements - proven track record of adding value to business processes
Responsibilities
a. Own Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Case Management
b. Project, resource and Risk/Issues management; Timely escalation of risks/issues which needs mgmt intervention
c. Defect Management
d. Compiling accurate status reports and communicating to org; Track status on a daily basis.
e. Review Design Documents.
f. Lead end to end Test suite
g. Develop Test Cases based on requirements.
h. Analyze progress/defect trends and influence Test strategy accordingly
i. Ensure Test optimization/ adequate coverage - review tests for potential gaps and provide guidance to the team
j. Test Case automation
k. interlock with global teams/ODMs/Vendors and effective engagement throughout the program
l. Work with ODMs and remote teams and ensure alignment to project milestones.
