Mandatory Skills :-
Should have 3-6 years experience in Performance Testing using HP Mercury toolset
preferably
• Proficient and hands-on in HP LoadRunner
• Ability to plan and manage Performance Tests.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Performance Test Methodologies and Best
Practices
• Ability to design and develop Performance Test Scripts and Scenarios
• Ability to provide guidance in building Performance Test Environments.
• Ability to execute Scenarios and Monitor various web/app/db servers
• Ability to analyze and identify performance bottlenecks and make
recommendations
• Responsible for Performance Test Delivery
• Ability to independently deliver the projects
• Strong problem analysis & resolution skills
• 1 -2 years of industry experience in high performance Java application
software development, and/or systems design and architecture
• Strong experience in Oracle database performance tuning, profiling, and
optimization
• Excellent understanding of client/server and web technologies
• Detailed understanding of client side web application performance
optimization
• Strong understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
• Knowledge of web application server load testing / benchmark software
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business aspects of
performance issues accurately and clearly to stakeholders at all levels of
organization
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Job Profile :-
As the Senior Performance Test Engineer you will be responsible for designing,
building and integrating a Performance Test environment which is Reusable,
Flexible, Scalable, Stable, Lightweight and Impactful. This will be deeply
integrated and woven into our daily development cycle to drive quality. This
Role will define and drive a framework of effective performance analysis and
reporting. Design and deploy tests to understand scalability, stability, and
fault tolerance. Information learned will be used to enhance performance and
scalability of the core products as well as the Integration framework. The
Performance Test Engineer will work with globally distributed development,
Architecture, and infrastructure teams to integrate performance planning and
analysis into the SDLC process
Desired Skills :- • Knowledge of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM),
optionally Gas and Power
