Role:                 Senior System Engineer - IIG
Location:          New Delhi
Provides technical leadership and direction to customers in development of fully integrated content based solutions in support of pre-sales activities.
Understands EMC and competitive technology for business applications.
Responsible for providing technical sales support to IIG North Region Sales. Works directly with IIG sales rep, direct sales team and the PS organization as the technical expert on IIG. Understand customer pain points and present Solution to add business values to customer’s business. Conducts customer visits with assigned area sales reps and works with the account team to identify opportunities. Use ROI / TCO tools and established processes to communicate value to customer. Should be able to clearly articulate the value proposition of the IIG ( Documentum, Captiva and Doc Sci) product suite. Delivers ongoing formal, informal(internal) training for product positioning that helps customer & account team understand the operational, financial and business impact of EMC solutions.
  • Works with Sales Team to develop and implement specific account penetration strategies, position EMC portfolio and service.
  • Understand customers business challenges and recommends EMC solutions with value proposition.
  • Establish strong relationships with client technical counterparts.
  • Articulates the technology value statements to customers during the pre-sales process and map customer business problems with solution features
  • Uses knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and leverages the sales skills of the team to educate customers on value of IIG .
  • Conducts training for Internal sales and Partner team on EMC Solutions selling
  • Assists in preparation of responses to RFP's
  • Maintains knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and respond to customer objections to EMC solutions
  • Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, business issues , competition, decision making process.
  • Makes technical and sales presentations to customer technical counterpart and top management.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Imaging, Content and Process Management solutions 
  • Ability to influence others to achieve results.
  • Customer focused and Results driven.
  • Good understanding of the IIG Solution and competition.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to present complex technical topics in a manner non-technical stakeholders can easily understand
  • Consultative skills.
