Job Description:

Primary Role Deliverables:

Analyze business requirements and develop test cases based on business objectives and project artifacts.
Develop, maintain and execute functional test cases as requested and working with the technology and business counterparts in the U.S.
Developing and maintaining test cases in Quality Center as per QA Standards, so that test cases are usable by both India and US staff.
Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with security policy and standards.
Develop and execute SQL queries in order to perform DB testing whenever required.

Secondary Role Deliverables:

Assist in executing manual regression testing for identified projects and releases.
Works on triaging software defects to ensure the appropriate team is notified, and sufficient detail of the issue is provided.
May supplement functional testing on identified key projects.

Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Good experience in creating functional test cases.
Experience in writing & executing SQL queries.
Good understanding of QA process knowledge
Proven experience with Quality Center & Clear Quest
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems
Full lifecycle development methodology working knowledge.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Good individual contributor as well as a team player with ability to build strong partner confidence
Detail-oriented and persistent, able to drive complicated tasks through to completion.
