Should have around 8+ year of UNIX experience with 7+ years of demonstratedexperience and proficiency in managing and maintaining Sun Solaris environment,will be responsible for

-      Installing, configuringand maintaining Sun Servers (Solaris 9/10)

-      Proficiency in supporting varioussun hardware like (E15k, E1290, E6800/6900, E4800 V890, V880, V490, V480,E420r) running Solaris operating system.

-      Configuring and administering Solaris Zones and Containerson Sun Solaris 10 operating system

-      Sun Virtualisation, LDOM & ServerSizing.

-      Installation and configuration of HAenvironment using Sun or Veritas Cluster.

-      Configuration and administration ofSun and Veritas logical volume manager.

-      Installing and Maintaining SolarisJumpstart environment

-      Patch and Package administration

-      Printer Administration

-      Writing shell scripts to accomplishday to day system administration task

-      Configuring and supporting domain onSun Fire Servers

-      Troubleshooting Hardware and Operatingsystem related issue

-      Capacity planning and fine tune systemfor optimal performance

-      Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.

-      Installation, configuration andAdministration of Netbackup environment

-      Administration of NIS or LDAPenvironment

-      Configuring Unix Security baseline

-      Troubleshooting Hardware and Operatingsystem related issue

-      Experience in System Fault ToleranceDesign, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning.

 

 

2. Process Lead:

 

Candidate would lead a team of process consultants andprocess analysts and provide expertise guidance for process lifecyclemanagement functions that includes

 

1.    Process audit, assessment and GAP analysis.

2.    Process development and process engineering

4.    Process operation and maintenance support

5.    Service quality improvement through continuous process improvement

 

Job description

 

·        Establishing and executing strategic and tactical plans for a fullscale implementation of the ITIL / ITSM framework across organization

·        Manage asses and analyze the current IT environment

·        Designing and implementing information system processes (ITILbased) and functions in a large complex IT organization

·        Managing and measuring processes compliance to established companypolicies/procedures, and lead continuous process improvement

·        Measuring the timeliness, quality and effectiveness of allprocesses performed within a given area of responsibility (demonstrate value inreducing TCO)

Job Description / Responsibility

 

Veritas Netbackup Admin

 

6+ years hands on experience on Veritas NetBackup, preferablyversion 6 and above Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience Handson with Enterprise level SAN tape libraries from ADIC, StorageTek or QuantumGood exposure on advanced backup functions like Synthetic Backups, NDMPbackups, Disk Staging or VTL implementation Excellent Communication skills andability to support 24x7 critical operations

 

OtherSkill:

·        Working knowledgeon Veritas Netbackup Administration  Or  Tivoli Storage ManagerAdministration

·        IP Network, WANand LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration (familiarity)

·        Data protectionand backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk todisk to tape, data replication

·        Experience inmanaging SAN on heterogeneous environment (Unix / Windows)

·        Unix and/orWindows systems administration experience

·        File System andDatabase Familiarity

    Responsibilities

·        Provideday to day global operational activities for Storage and Backup/Recovery teamsincluding administering storagearray architecture, SAN infrastructure, Network Attached Storage (NAS),Enterprise Backup/Restore, Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Archivaland Retrieval

·        Performall chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timelymanner

·        Produceregular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planningand consolidation

 

4. Cisco / Checkpoint Security

 

•            Must have 4+ years’ experience with multiple SecurityProducts.

•          Must have experience modifying firewall rule sets, studying network trafficflows to reverse-engineer the required firewall rules to lock down an           application, and troubleshooting firewall problems in an enterprise or serviceprovider environment under short time constraints involving complex network    application flows between multiple hosts spanning multiple firewalls anddifferent geographic locations.

•            Must have hands-on technical experience installing, configuring, documenting,and providing ongoing support for Cisco PIX and/or ASA 5500-series /Checkpointfirewalls, and Cisco routers at multiple customer sites.

•            Experience in implementing Information Security technologies and/or processesrequired.

•            Experience in product evaluation and managing vendor relationships required.

•            Experience in defining Information Security strategy and integrating securitytechnologies into corporate frameworks.

•            Primary Skill Set: Cisco firewalls (ASA 5500 series, PIX, FWSM).

•            They must have networking experience and must have experience managing wirelessnetworks

•            Should have good communication skills (verbal and written).

•            Should have good understanding and hands-on experience in IPSEC/SSL VPN

•            Should have good understanding and hands-on experience in NIPS (Proventia,Cisco IPS, Tipping point, McAfee)

•            Should have good knowledge in Proxies and email security.

•            Should have good knowledge in Endpoint Security (NAC, HIPS, PFW)

•            Should be comfortable working in 24*7 environments.

•            Should be CCNA/ CCNA (Security) certified.

5.  EMC Storage Admin L3
