Job Description

1.    Role

a.    Responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives, ensuring Customer Satisfaction and maintaining all equipment in the assigned area

b.    Front ends the responsibility in honouring all customer commitments - spelt out in maintenace contracts agreed with the customer

2.    Essential Responsibilities

a.    Installation, calibration and customization of equipment at customer location. System level trouble-shooting

b.    Training the customer representatives in proper handling and operation of the of the device

c.     Regular interaction with customer representatives - doctors and technicians on performance of the equipment and additional requirements

d.    Takes prompt action on Annual Maintenance Contracts and Preventive Maintenance requirements for the equipment.

e.    Adheres to company processes in spirit and strives for continuous improvement in functional efficiencies

f.     Frequent travel to customer locations in remote parts of India at short notice 

3.    Basic/Minimum Job Qualifications

a.    Diploma or Degree in any branch of Engineering or Sciences

b.    Pleasing manners, positive attitude and good interpersonal skills

c.     Proficient in multiple languages of India

d.    Computer literate - in terms of installation and operation of computer software

e.    Basic trouble shooting of the equipment - which consists of a few electronic and optic modules controlled by a PC based software

4.    Preferred Job Qualifications

a.    Experience in handling medical devices

b.    Exposure to Eye care
