Finance Trainee
Job Description:
The candidate will be a trainee in Cvent’s Finance Division and will be working as an integral part of the billing and accounts receivable teams. You will work on Microsoft Great Plains accounting platform and the Sales Force CRM platform.

Our team of 30 Finance Associates and Managers is a close-knit group of dynamic and high-energy professionals. We have people from various educational backgrounds including, but not limited to B.com (H), B.com (P) and Economics (H), Charted Accountants & MBAs
Star performers in this profile receive a unique opportunity to visit the Cvent Headquarters office in the US, for 2 months of further learning and career development.
Work Hours
8:30 AM – 6:00 PM IST (Day Shift)
Customers:
Cvent has over 80,000 users. Nearly 70% of our revenue comes from corporate customers, the rest coming from associations, non-profits and universities. Representative customers include Marriott, Hyatt, KPMG, the World Bank, Rolls Royce, American Marketing Association, Wal-Mart, Mobil, Yahoo, Harvard University, United Way, BMW, and Siemens.
Position Duties:
Entering checks received from clients into accounting system and making sure that they are applied to the right client
Implementing contracts received from sales team in our files to allow for timely billing
Charging and Reconciling credit cards charged every day to ensure quality control
Creating Invoices using MS Office Tools and sending them to Respective Customers
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate/Post Graduate, preferably with commerce background and good Academic scores
Good analytical and logical ability
Ability to analyze processes and work out logical solutions
Good communication skills (English – written and spoken)
Positive attitude and out of the box thinking
Detailed working knowledge of MS Office with in-depth knowledge of MS Excel
Working knowledge of Internet and Email Clients (MS Outlook).
