Description:

                    The GPS based fleet tracking system is designed for a fleet of                vehicles. All the Vehicles irrespective of the user will be fitted with a vehicle mounted unit, named Nirdeshak. Nirdeshak unit will generate the position data using the GPS technology and transmit the data using the GPRS network to the  Central Control Room.

The proposed system  consists of four major components namely vehicle mounted unit, FTS application software,Geographical information system and  mobile communication network.VMU gathers the vehicle position and related information and transmits the  same to the central control room over the communication network.

Each vehicle will be fitted with Vehicle Mounted unit which comprises of an

 integrated GPS receiver a GPRS modem and a mobile communication unit.The VMU computes the current position information speed.The positon information and other data will be transmitted over the mobile communication system to the control center of CTO.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

       Involved in the testing of UI  using Manual Testing.

        Involved in preparing Test Plan and Test Cases.

   Involved in preparation of Test Plan Document and Test Case Documents.
