Sub: Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Field Engineers Training Courses
The Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) is an Autonomous Organ of the Institution of Engineers (India) and has completed twenty nine years in service to the nation in imparting Continuing Professional Development Education to engineers and managers in engineering profession as well as providing consultancy services to the industries and government agencies. ESCI also offers specific programmes to suit the requirements of individual organizations and government bodies.
Government of India is aiming at implementation of 20,000 MW Solar Power by year 2020. Guidelines on this issue have already been released by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. ESCI is endeavoring to partner with the MNRE to fulfill the aim given in National Solar Mission.
ESCI is offering two courses each of Solar Thermal Field Engineers and Solar Photovoltaic Field Engineers which will commence in the month of Dec. 2010 and staggered till 15th March 2011. Firm dates and the duration of the course are indicated in the brochure. “Courses are jointly sponsored and funded by Government of India, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Engineering Staff College of India, Hyderabad”.
It would be our endeavour to get best faculty, who has the expertise and skill-set to impart training to the participants so that they derive maximum benefits out of the course.
On successful completion of the course, a certificate of participation will be jointly issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the Engineering Staff College of India to the participants.
The subsidized course fee for 15 days course is Rs. 5,000/- per participant.
Since the courses are partly funded by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and the ESCI, it is obviously discernible that the course fee has been reduced substantially to give an impetus to attend the course in large numbers.

We invite the Government agencies and private companies to nominate the candidates in large numbers so that they strengthen their knowledge on the subject and help in meeting the aim provided in National Solar Mission, effectively.
